Follow these easy steps to turn off power savings and improve your product’s features
Low Power Mode is a valid and valuable way to save battery, but using it can prevent all the other exceptional functions your device has to offer. Whether it’s download speed, 5G, or visual effects, keeping your battery saver on can prevent you from accessing all the amazing features on your computer, phone, or watch. Keep reading and we’ll teach you how to turn off Low Power Mode to unlock the full potential of all kinds of devices!

- On iPhone, go to Settings, tap Battery, then tap the button next to Low Power Mode.
- On the Apple Watch, press the Digital Crown on the side of the watch. Then, tap Settings, then Battery, then toggle off the Low Power Mode switch.
- On Android, tap the Settings option, then Device Care, then Battery, then Power saving mode. Once in Power Saving Mode, press the Low Power switch.

[Edit]iPhone and iPad (Settings method)
- Go to your iPhone’s Settings. Settings can be found on the home screen. It is symbolized with a gray gear.[1]
- Tap Battery. Once you’re in Settings, scroll down and choose Battery.[2]
- Tap the Power switch. After selecting Battery, tap the switch next to Low Power Mode. The switch should toggle from green to gray, which indicates you’ve turned off Low Power Mode.[3]
- If you want to turn Low Power Mode back on, just click this switch.

- Swipe up to open Control Center. To turn off Low Power Mode via Control Center, swipe up or down on your screen, depending on your phone’s model. If you have an iPhone X or later (or any iPad), swipe down from the top right corner of the screen. If you have an iPhone 8, SE, or earlier, swipe up from the bottom.[4]
- Tap Battery. At the bottom left of your Control Center’s features, click the glowing yellow battery symbol. The battery icon should change from yellow to white to indicate that your phone is no longer in Low Power Mode.[5]
- If you don’t see the battery icon in your device’s Control Center, you can add Low Power Mode in the Settings feature by clicking Control Center and then Customize Controls.

- Swipe up on your Apple Watch to access Control Center.[6]
- Tap Battery. Select the battery percentage icon in the lower left corner of the screen.[7]
- Tap the Power switch. Tap the Power switch in your Battery settings to toggle Low Power Mode off and on.[8]

- Press the Digital Crown. If you prefer to control your device’s power mode from the Settings function, press the Digital Crown on the side of your Apple Watch.[9]
- Select Settings from the drop-down menu.[10]
- Tap Battery.[11]
- Tap the Power switch.[12]

- Go to your Android’s Settings. To turn off Low Power Mode on your Android, click on your phone’s Settings option. It looks like a white gear inside a gray box.[13]

- Tap Battery, then Power saving mode. After opening Device Care, tap the battery icon in the lower left corner of your screen. After clicking on Battery, tap on the Power switch to deactivate Power Saving Mode.[15]

- Select the Apple drop-down menu. To turn off Low Power Mode on your Mac, move your mouse to the top left corner of your screen and click the Apple logo.[16]
- Click on System Preferences.[17]
- Select Battery. Once you are in System Preferences, move your mouse over the green battery icon and click.[18]
- Click on Battery (again). After you activate Battery Options, you will be presented with 4 features: Usage History, Battery, Power Adapter, and Schedule. Select Battery from this menu.[19]
- Click on Low Power Mode. In the Battery menu, click the Low Power Mode box that is checked to turn off Low Power Mode.[20]

- Click on Start. To turn off Low Power Mode for your Windows PC, start (pun intended) by clicking on the Start button at the bottom edge of the screen. Start is a small icon that displays the Windows logo.[21]
- If your computer is running Windows 10 or earlier, you can turn off Low Power Mode by clicking on the battery icon in the taskbar.
- Click on Settings from the Start menu. After clicking on the Start button, click on Settings from the drop-down menu.[22]
- Click on Power. In the System menu, scroll down and click on the Power icon.[23]
- Choose your most optimal power mode. Once you’ve selected the power option, you’ll have your choice of battery function. Your choices will be: Best Energy Efficiency, Balanced and Best Performance. Best Power Efficiency is the closest option to Low Power Mode, so, to de-activate it, click on Best Performance or Balanced instead.[24]
- Even without power saving mode, you can extend your computer’s battery in other ways like reducing the number of tasks you do and editing down your brightness.

- To turn off Low Power Mode on your Apple Airpods or Airpods Max, place the Airpods in their designated Smart Case. This will automatically send them into low power mode. You don’t need to use any function on your iPhone to put your Airpods into Low Power Mode.[25]
