To audition for a TV show, start by getting a professional headshot so you have something to help the directors remember you. Then, search a website like playbill.com or backstage.com for open casting calls in the city closest to where you live. Even if it’s a small part, go to auditions to get the experience and exposure the casting director will be looking for.
